What are "ACX Standards"?
To sell your audiobook on Audible, your audio files need to meet ACX standards. My delivery to you will be in mp3 format, mastered to meet ACX standards. They're pretty tricky to achieve, so you're saving yourself a lot of time and money by hiring me!
What's your availability?
It depends on when you ask! I record every day. Audiobooks are large time commitments, so I have to clear time to record for you, which can be hard if I'm busy but easy if you're flexible. With that said, I usually deliver earlier than expected.
What are Commercial Rights?
Commercial Rights grant you permission to sell the audiobook I create for you. If you're going to sell this audiobook on Audible or even your website, you'll need Commercial Rights. I now provide them free for Fiverr customers!
Can you perform Accents?
Absolutely! Accents and Characters are my specialty. My background is comedy, animation and puppetry. Listen to my samples on Audible. If you want to audition me, message me with a short script and let me know what accent you want to hear.
Can I audition you to get a sense of your sound?
Yes! If you want an audition from me for your audiobook, message me with a short sample and I will get it to you ASAP. Sometimes it may take me a day or so, so sit tight. It is generally appropriate to pay for an audiobook audition on Fiverr. ($5 per 150 words.)
What's your policy on modifications?
Depending on the length of your audiobook, I include a reasonable amount of modifications soon after delivery. Any late modification requests or major changes in the script are at added cost. Finalize your script before ordering and listen to my delivery ASAP. I revise my mistakes for free.
Do you add music and credits?
To pass ACX requirements, your audiobook needs opening & closing credits. I will record them for free as part of your order, though I may need to check with you on wording. As for music, for an additional fee I will mix appropriate royalty-free music into your audiobook. Best if you give it to me.
