How do I know if my WordPress site has been hacked?
Common signs: your hosting provider sent a suspension notice, Google is showing a "this site may be hacked" warning, visitors are being redirected to spam pages, you see new admin users you didn't create, or your site is slow and sending spam emails. Any of these, message me immediately.
How long does it take?
Most sites are cleaned in 24–48 hours. Complex server-wide infections may take up to 3 days.
Do you guarantee no reinfection?
I harden your site to prevent common reinfections. If malware returns within 1 month (Standard) or 2 months (Premium), I’ll clean it again for free.
Can you remove Google blacklist warnings?
Yes. After cleanup, I submit delisting requests and monitor until your site is green again.
My hosting suspended my account, can you still help?
Yes. I work through cPanel or FTP directly, so a suspended WordPress dashboard doesn't stop me. Once the site is clean, I help you submit the review request to your hosting provider. This is included in the Premium package.
Will this affect my website content or design?
No. Malware removal only targets infected files and malicious code. Your pages, posts, images, and design stay exactly as they are. The only visible change should be that your site is working properly and flagged warnings disappear.
What caused my site to get hacked?
In 4+ years of doing this, it's almost always one of three things: an outdated plugin with a known vulnerability, a stolen or weak password, or a nulled (pirated) theme or plugin with a backdoor built in. I identify the exact cause with every cleanup.
I have multiple WordPress sites, can you clean all of them?
Yes. If you manage multiple sites, message me with the total count and I'll put together a custom quote. Cleaning sites in bulk is generally faster and more cost-effective than doing them one at a time.
How do I prevent getting hacked again after you clean it?
Three things: keep everything updated (plugins, themes, WordPress core), use a strong unique password and 2FA on your admin account, and never use nulled themes or plugins. I set all of this up in the Standard and Premium packages so you leave properly protected, not just temporarily cleaned.
