About this Gig
Need clean Excel or CSV data for reporting, analysis, or import? I clean messy spreadsheets using rules we agree on and document what changed.
WHAT I CLEAN:
- Remove exact duplicates or flag possible matches using your chosen key
- Standardise dates, numbers, names, text, and column formats
- Fix inconsistent values and flag missing or unmatched records
- Merge compatible files within package limits
- Provide a change log and agreed validation checks
- Premium: create reusable Power Query steps for recurring files with a stable structure
WHAT YOU RECEIVE:
A separate cleaned Excel/CSV file, change log, and agreed checks. Your source file stays untouched. I flag ambiguous records rather than guessing.
HOW IT WORKS
- Upload the file and confirm row/file counts.
- Share duplicate rules, required columns, formats, and exceptions.
- I clean, validate, and deliver for review in a complete video rec.
Ideal for customer lists, sales exports, CRM/accounting exports, and recurring reports. Built by a Senior Accountant (CMA Inter qualified), with 44+ Fiverr orders completed.
Remove unnecessary sensitive data before upload. Dashboards, macros, and work beyond the selected package require a custom quote.

FAQ
How do you decide which rows are duplicates?
You define the matching fields and whether to keep the first, latest, or another record. I can remove exact duplicates or flag possible matches for review. I never remove records using an unstated rule.
Will you preserve my original file?
Yes. I deliver a separate cleaned copy and a change log. Your source file is not overwritten. Please retain your own backup as well.
Can you merge multiple Excel or CSV files?
Yes, within the selected package limits, provided the file structures can be mapped. Incompatible columns and unmatched records will be flagged rather than silently discarded.
Can you automate recurring data cleanup?
Premium can include reusable Power Query steps when recurring files follow a stable structure and the necessary Excel features are supported.
How do you handle missing or inconsistent values?
I standardize values according to the agreed rules and flag missing, ambiguous, or unmatched records. I do not invent data to fill gaps.
What do you need before starting?
Please provide the source file, row and file counts, duplicate rules, required output structure, formatting rules, and any exceptions.
Are dashboards, macros, or advanced formulas included?
These are not automatically included in the data-cleaning packages. Contact me for a custom offer if you need dashboards, VBA, complex formulas, or additional automation.

I recently had the pleasure of working with an extraordinarily skilled Excel expert, and I must say, the service provided was nothing short of phenomenal. From the outset, it was clear that this professional was committed to not only meeting but exceeding my expectations. One of the most impressive...
