As an author myself, I know how quickly editing and rewriting can make us forget what's on the page as the words and scenes all blur together. What manuscripts do you like to read?
I'm a sucker for a healthy romance (please no stories glorifying toxic men) but also enjoy Young Adult, urban fantasy, and cozy mysteries.
What do you mean by obligation scenes?
Every genre has a series of scenes that make it that genre and subconsciously, all readers and audiences know those scenes. They may not be able to describe what's missing, but they all know something's missing from the story if one of those scenes aren't there, leaving them unsatisfied.
What type of file do you accept?
I prefer google docs above all else. It's easy to share, add notes, and give back. You maintain full control over the doc and can take my commenting rights off as soon as my job is complete.
