About me
I am founding and managing editor of Decolonial Passage Literary Magazine, an AWP Writer to Writer mentee, and a PEN America Emerging Voices Workshop LA honoree. My hybrid memoir will be published by Unsolicited Press in 2027. I am the author of a poetry collection, and my writing has been published in various literary journals. I have English degrees from both UCLA and Cal State LA and certificates in creative writing, TESOL, and college counseling. As a National Board Certified teacher, my professional life has been dedicated to teaching English and ESL in public high schools.
