About this gig
I will create sheet-metal fabrication files for your PCB enclosure, front panel, cover, or electronics housing.
Depending on the package, I can prepare:
- Flat-pattern or DXF profiles
- Bend locations and bend-direction notes
- Connector, switch, display, and cable cutouts
- PCB mounting-hole alignment
- Tabs, slots, fasteners, covers, and access panels
- STEP models and dimensioned PDF drawings
Please provide your PCB STEP model or accurate outline, enclosure dimensions, material and thickness, manufacturing method, bend rules, cutouts, and required output formats.This gig is for design files and documentation, not physical fabrication.
Complex bend compensation, sealed housings, EMI shielding, tight-tolerance work, or safety-critical products require a scope review before ordering. I do not guarantee supplier acceptance, certification, or final production performance.

Is this a 3D modeling gig or a drawing gig?
It is a fabrication-documentation gig. Depending on the package, you may receive DXF flat patterns, STEP models, PDF drawings, bend notes, cutout layouts, and assembly documentation.
Can you work from my PCB STEP file?
Yes. A PCB STEP file is the best starting point because it helps verify mounting positions, connector access, and internal clearances. An accurate 2D outline may also work for a smaller scope.
Do you provide a flat pattern for every metal part?
The included parts depend on the package. Basic covers one simple part, Standard covers one enclosure package, and Premium covers up to three related parts or a larger documented enclosure.
Do you account for bend allowance and bend compensation?
I can apply the buyer’s stated manufacturing rules when they are supplied and included in the scope. Without the manufacturer’s rules, I will state assumptions and cannot guarantee the final bend result.
Do you manufacture the parts?
No. I provide design and fabrication documentation files. Laser cutting, bending, CNC machining, finishing, assembly, and shipping are separate.
