How much information do you need?
I have worked with very little information like name, age and basic obituary stuff. I will try to personalize even the smallest amount of information...however, the more information you provide the more intimate your speech will be.
Do you write a complete speech?
Yes, what I write can be read verbatim at any occasion. However, many people want to use what I write as a base for what they want to say so they may change it to their own voice... either way you are good to go.
Is it bad that I can't write my own speech for such a tremendous occasion?
Of course not! Most people aren't comfortable talking in front of others even on a good day... but if you have to get up and talk in front of people at a funeral or a wedding, that can be nerve-wracking. Do not worry. Depending on a professional at this time is a sign of your love and dedication.
