What is the difference between this gig and your paperback formatting gig?
This gig is dedicated entirely to Kindle ebook formatting — producing a clean EPUB or KPF file for digital publishing on Amazon KDP. If you also need your book formatted for print paperback, check out my separate paperback and Kindle ebook formatting gig, which covers both in one order.
What file format do I need to send you?
The best format is Microsoft Word (.docx) or a Google Docs export. I can also work from a PDF, though PDF files with complex layouts may require extra cleanup time. If you're unsure about your file, send me a message before placing your order and I'll confirm right away.
What exactly is a reflowable Kindle format and why does it matter?
A reflowable ebook means the text automatically adjusts to fit any screen size — whether your reader is on a Kindle Paperwhite, a Fire tablet, or the Kindle app on a phone. This is the standard format Amazon KDP requires for most ebooks.
Will my Kindle ebook have a proper clickable Table of Contents?
Yes. Every ebook I format includes a fully hyperlinked Table of Contents that works both as a standalone TOC page and as Kindle's built-in navigation menu. Readers can jump directly to any chapter from anywhere in the book — which Amazon also rewards with better store presentation.
What Kindle devices and apps will my ebook be tested on?

Can you convert a PDF into a Kindle ebook?
Yes. PDF-to-Kindle conversion is one of the most common requests I handle. I manually restructure the content for proper reflowable flow rather than doing a simple file conversion, which would break the layout on Kindle devices. The result is a clean, readable ebook — not a digitized PDF.
Do you deliver EPUB, MOBI, or KPF format?
I deliver the format that best suits your publishing platform. For Amazon KDP, I deliver EPUB or KPF — the two formats KDP currently accepts and recommends. MOBI is an older format Amazon has phased out, but if you need it for a specific platform or tool, let me know before ordering.
What if my manuscript has footnotes, endnotes, or special characters?
Footnotes, endnotes, and special characters require extra formatting attention to render correctly on Kindle devices. They are supported but please message me before ordering if your manuscript contains these elements so I can confirm scope and timeline before we begin.
How many revisions are included and what counts as a revision?
You get 2 rounds of revisions included. A revision covers formatting corrections — such as spacing issues, heading adjustments, TOC fixes, or image placement. It does not include content changes like adding new chapters, rewriting paragraphs, or structural reorganization of the manuscript.
Can this ebook also be uploaded to other platforms like Apple Books or Kobo?
Yes. The EPUB file I deliver is not exclusive to Amazon KDP. It can also be uploaded to Apple Books, Kobo, Barnes & Noble Press, Google Play Books, and Draft2Digital with little or no adjustment. If you need platform-specific optimization for any of these, mention it before ordering.
