Depending on your package, development can include concept and premise, logline, themes, central conflict, characters, antagonistic forces, story direction, ending, complete plot, narrative structure, character arcs, relationships, supporting characters, subplots, narrative threads, POV, timeline, story-specific world foundations, and narrative integration.
Each story is developed according to its individual needs rather than forced into a predetermined formula.
Please note: This is a story development service, not manuscript editing, proofreading, or ghostwriting. You may provide a concept, notes, outline, or other existing story material within your package's included word limit.

What is story development?
I develop your existing idea or premise into a stronger, cohesive story. Depending on your package, this can include concept, plot, structure, characters, relationships, subplots, POV, timeline, and narrative integration.
Is this manuscript editing?
No. This is story development, not manuscript editing, proofreading, or line editing. You provide your concept, notes, outline, or existing story material, and I develop the narrative according to your selected package.
What does "Words Included" mean?
“Words Included” refers to the maximum amount of your existing material I will review as input for story development. It does not refer to the length of your final development document.
Do I need a complete plot?
No. You can come with a simple premise, partial idea, or an already-developed concept. The depth of development depends on the package you choose.
Will you change my original idea?
Your vision stays at the heart of the story. I may suggest or develop solutions for weaknesses, inconsistencies, or missed opportunities, but the goal is to strengthen your concept—not replace it with mine.
What counts as a revision?
Revisions cover reasonable changes within the original concept and agreed scope. Major changes to the premise, protagonists, genre, central conflict, or story direction that require redevelopment are not considered revisions.
Do you use a specific story structure?
Not automatically. I choose or develop a structure based on what suits your story. This may include 3-act, 4-act, 5-act, Save the Cat, Hero’s Journey, or another appropriate structure.
Do you write the novel?
No. This gig develops the story itself rather than writing the manuscript. Ghostwriting is not included.
Can you handle complex stories?
Yes. Premium development can include multiple narrative threads, interconnected arcs and subplots, complex relationships, multiple POVs, timeline architecture, world foundations, and narrative integration.
