What is a band tattoo?
A band tattoo is a continuous design that wraps all the way around your arm or leg, creating a complete ring of pattern. They are one of the most traditional and iconic styles in Polynesian, Hawaiian, Maori, and Samoan tattooing.
What’s the difference between the packages?
The packages are based on band width. Basic = 1” narrow band, Standard = 3” medium band, Premium = 4”-6” wide band with more detail and complexity. All include 2 revisions.
How do I know what size band to choose?
A 1” band suits wrists and ankles. A 3” band works well for forearms and calves. A 4”-6” band is ideal for upper arms, thighs, or a bold statement piece. If you’re unsure, feel free to message me.
Can I request specific symbols or meanings?
Absolutely! Every design is fully customised. Please send through the symbols, heritage, or personal meaning you’d like to add and I’ll incorporate them into your band design.
What file formats will I receive?
You’ll receive high resolution PNG and PDF files, ready to take straight to your tattoo artist.
Do you design bands for both arms and legs?
Yes! My designs work for wrists, forearms, upper arms, ankles, calves, and thighs.
Will the design wrap around completely?
Yes! When you place your order, just send me the circumference measurement of your arm or leg and I’ll design it accordingly. Your tattoo artist may make minor adjustments in your appointment.
