I will develop stm32 or esp32 firmware in c with freertos

About this Gig
Need firmware that works on real hardware, not just in a simulator? I write embedded C for STM32 (Cortex-M) and ESP32, from a single driver to the full firmware of a prototype.
What I do:
- Peripheral drivers: UART, SPI, I2C, CAN/FDCAN, USB CDC, ADC, timers and DMA
- FreeRTOS task design, or bare-metal register-level code when size and timing matter
- Bootloaders and firmware updates with CRC checks
- Debugging hard faults, timing and other low-level issues
What you get:
- Source code with build steps (GCC/CMake, STM32CubeIDE, ESP-IDF or PlatformIO)
- Host-side Python test scripts you can rerun yourself
- A short report with test results and known limits
Recent open-source work: an STM32G431 OTA bootloader in 2.4 KB with 99 hardware tests, a USB-to-CAN adapter (74 tests) and a JTAG/SWD pinout finder (70 tests). MSc in Electronic Engineering, working professionally on embedded systems.

FAQ
Do you need my hardware?
Not always. I test on my own STM32 Nucleo boards. For custom hardware, you can ship a board, or I test on the closest dev board and you confirm on yours.
Do you use the HAL or bare-metal code?
Either. I follow your existing codebase, and use direct register access when size, speed or timing requires it.
Which tools do you use?
GCC with Make or CMake, STM32CubeIDE, ESP-IDF or PlatformIO, matching your project. Tests are Python scripts that talk to the board over serial or USB.
