Managing end to end SEO for Denim Exchange USA (denimexchangeusa.com), a US-based streetwear and apparel retailer, on a freelance basis since June 2025. Process: Started with a full site audit to identify technical issues, content gaps, and ranking opportunities, then built an SEO plan around the findings. From there, work has followed a structured, ongoing process: - Regular content publishing on collection pages to strengthen product and category rankings - Topical mapping to plan blog content that supports and builds authority around those collections - Consistent blog publishing based on that topical map, targeting both commercial and informational search intent - Backlink building to grow domain authority and support rankings across the site - Ongoing technical SEO monitoring and fixes — title tags, meta descriptions, heading structure, and crawl/indexing issues — resolved on a regular basis rather than as a one-time cleanup A large number of collection pages are now ranking on page 1, driving consistent organic traffic and sales. Results (April 2026 vs. April 2025, Google Search Console data): - Clicks: 5,490 → 7,260 (+32.2%) - Impressions: 90,900 → 675,000 (+642.9%) - Average position: 28.8 → 7.5 (21.3 positions gained, moving from page 3 to page 1) Store performance (Shopify Analytics, April 2026): - Gross sales: $443,896.30 - Total sales: $438,633.49 Multiple blog posts now rank in top-5 positions, generating tens of thousands of impressions monthly. Brand and product queries are converting at strong click-through rates, reflecting growing topical authority in the streetwear and apparel niche.
