OCR - make a scanned PDF searchable
If your PDF is really just photos of pages, you can't search it or copy from it. OCR adds a real text layer, so the page looks identical but the words are selectable. Tested on an image-only scan: 0 searchable characters before, 707 after.
Extract data - scanned tables into Excel
Invoices, ledgers, price lists and statements come back as a clean .xlsx, one sheet per page, with numbers stored as numbers so the columns add up.

Every job is checked by eye before it goes back.
Limits: 64 MB and 300 pages per file. Printed text only - handwriting is not reliable.
Your file goes in its own isolated folder, is never mixed with anything else, and is deleted after 2 hours. I keep no copies.
Please note: OCR accuracy depends on your scan. If your scan is poor I'll tell you before taking your money.

Will I get an editable Word file?
No, and I'd rather say so up front. You get a searchable PDF (looks identical, text now selectable) and/or a plain text file. I don't rebuild your document as a formatted Word file with the original layout - that's a different job. If that's what you need, don't order this one.
