Looking for feedback on your poetry? Do you need a place to workshop your words where the focus will be entirely on you?
During these dedicated time slots, we can pour over your words and give each line the attention it deserves to make sure your submitting your absolute best work to literary journals, contests, and other publications.
We'll meet virtually, and together we'll read and reread your words, while having an open dialogue about their sound, meaning, how they come across, and any possible improvements.
You'll leave the workshop with notes, ideas, and the confidence to push your work to new places.

Is this editing?
No. Workshopping is a more collaborative experience that focuses on brain-storming ideas. Editing is the technical phase that comes after where the writer makes decisions about their piece based on the ideas we collected during the workshop.
Will you tell me I've done something wrong?
Never! There is no right or wrong way to write. I may have ideas on other ways to approach something, but it's entirely your choice whether you want to take those ideas on board. The point of a workshop is to hear other opinions and then see if they spark more id, not be told your wrong.
Is there anything you won't workshop?
I don't workshop pieces that are intended as hate speech. I reserve the right to refuse to workshop a piece that directs hate toward any group of people, and I will not refund your money if you book me just to try and make me read your hate (yes, this has happened).
To expand on the previous point...
Everything else is fair game. Pour out your heart. Write about your grief. Write about what hurts. Write about what makes you ugly. Write about sex. Write about violence. Write about love. Write about kinky things I've never heard of. Write about whatever you want...as long as it's not hate speech.
