What does your proofreading and polish include?
I check grammar, spelling, punctuation, typos, awkward wording, sentence clarity, repetition, dialogue punctuation, and consistency. When a sentence needs improvement, I may rewrite it while preserving your meaning and voice.
What romance genres do you work with?
I specialize in contemporary, fantasy, queer, and erotica romance. If your manuscript combines genres, feel free to message me before ordering.
Will you rewrite my sentences?
Yes, when needed. I can rewrite awkward or unclear sentences to improve readability while keeping your original meaning, tone, and author voice. This is a polish, not a complete rewrite of your manuscript.
Do you offer developmental editing?
No. This gig focuses on proofreading and sentence-level polishing. It does not include plot development, character development, pacing analysis, restructuring, or a full manuscript critique....I do offer beta reading report as an add on though.
Do you proofread longer romance novels?
Yes..if your manuscript is more than 100k, shoot me a text and we can discuss custom offers.
Do you use Track Changes?
Yes. I use Microsoft Word's Track Changes or google docs so you can review my corrections and suggestions before accepting them.
What file should I send?
Please send your manuscript as an editable Word document or Google doc whenever possible. If you have specific style preferences or anything you want me to watch for, include those with your order.
My manuscript is less than 25,000 words. Can I still order?
Yes. Just text me for a custom offer.
