Hi, I'm Izzy! I'm a beta reader and editor with experience across romance, young adult, and literary fiction. I offer honest, constructive feedback on both fiction and non-fiction projects, and I'm happy to work with all genres.
Each package includes a detailed reader report covering my overall impressions of your work, including plot, flow, characterisation, and dialogue. My aim is to give you clear, thoughtful insights that help you strengthen your story while keeping your voice intact.
This gig focuses on beta reading rather than proofreading, but you can add a proofreading extra for just $10 once you've chosen your package. If you'd like a deeper edit alongside the beta read, please feel free to message me to discuss a custom option.
I know how exciting (and nerve-wracking!) it can be to share your writing, especially if it's your first time getting feedback. I'll always approach your work with care and positivity to make the process both helpful and enjoyable.
For longer manuscripts over 50,000 words or any special requirements, please get in touch and I'll be happy to create a custom offer that fits your project.

Do you include a proofread?
My gig pricing doesn't include a proofread of your manuscript. However, there is an option to add this as an extra for only $10. You will be able to add this to the gig when you select the appropriate package for your word count.
What format should I send my manuscript in?
I accept MS Word or GoogleDocs as this allows me to organise my initial comments easily.
Do you accept LGBTQI+ stories?
