I will build an excel employee schedule attendance and labor tracker
Excel and VBA Tools for Operations Teams
About this Gig
Keep your team's schedule, attendance and labor totals organized in one practical Excel workbook.
I bring an operations leadership perspective to spreadsheet design, with clear input areas, useful totals and simple instructions for daily use.
BASIC: Reusable weekly schedule for up to 20 staff with planned hours totals.
STANDARD: Up to 40 staff, attendance log, actual hours and agreed overtime totals.
PREMIUM: Up to 75 staff, planned vs actual dashboard and one custom summary.
Each package covers one team and includes an editable .xlsx workbook, fictional sample entries and usage notes. Formula counts refer to distinct calculation types, not copied cells.
Send your Excel version, shift pattern and desired reports before ordering if you need overnight shifts, rotating schedules or custom rules. Calculations follow the rules you supply. Payroll processing, compliance advice, integrations, automatic shift optimization, VBA and extensive data cleanup are outside these packages.
Revisions refine the agreed scope; additional teams or features require a separate scope.

FAQ
Will this work with my Excel version?
Tell me your Excel version and whether you use Windows, Mac or Excel for the web. I will confirm compatibility before work starts. These packages use formulas; VBA is separately scoped.
Does this calculate payroll?
It summarizes hours and applies the overtime rules you supply within the agreed scope. Payroll processing, taxes and compliance advice are not included.
Can you improve my existing workbook?
Yes, after reviewing a sanitized copy. Repairing an existing workbook may have a different scope from building a new tracker.
What counts as a revision?
An adjustment to the agreed layout, formulas or reports. New workflows, additional teams or new features require a separate scope.
What do the formula counts mean?
They refer to distinct calculation types, such as planned hours or overtime totals, not the number of cells containing copied formulas.
Do you need real employee records?
A sanitized sample and employee codes are usually enough. Demo entries will be fictional. Please share only data needed for the agreed workbook.
