Nine times out of ten it's alkalinity, and nine times out of ten
nobody checked it against the last four readings.
Send me your test numbers and photos of the tank. I'll work through
the whole picture: parameters, equipment, what you're stocking, what
changed recently. Then you get a real report back. What's wrong, why
it went wrong, what to do in what order.
Freshwater is fine too. Same job, different chemistry.
