What do you need to start my 3D model?
A rough sketch, reference photos, or a 2D drawing is enough to get started. Please include the main dimensions, required fit, and intended 3D printing method. If anything is missing, I'll contact you before starting.
Which package should I choose?
Basic is ideal for one simple part. Standard covers one detailed part or up to 3 simple parts. Premium is best for assemblies of up to 5 parts, including technical drawings and Blender renders. Not sure? Message me for advice.
Which file formats will I receive?
Files depend on your selected package. Available formats include STL, 3MF, STEP, and editable SolidWorks source files. Additional formats may be available upon request.
Will my model be ready for FDM or resin 3D printing?
I'll design your model with suitable wall thicknesses, clearances, and tolerances based on your printer, material, and requirements. Please share your printing method and any specific constraints.
What if my printed part doesn't fit?
Send me photos and measurements of the printed part. If the issue results from an error on my side, I'll correct it for free. Changes to the original requirements may require an additional order.
Can you convert a 2D drawing into a 3D SolidWorks model?
Yes! Send your drawing as a PDF, DXF, image, or sketch, along with dimensions and any missing details. I'll create a 3D CAD model based on the information provided.
Can I sell products made from your designs on Etsy?
Commercial use depends on the agreed order terms. Please confirm your intended use before ordering and ensure that any logos or reference designs you provide are yours to use or properly licensed.
Will you keep my design confidential?
Yes. I won't share your files or display your design in my portfolio without your permission. I'm also open to signing an NDA before starting the project.
Do you print and ship physical parts?
No. I provide digital design files only. You can use them with your own 3D printer or send them to a professional printing service.
Can you edit or repair an existing STL file?
Yes! Send me your STL file and describe the changes you need. Depending on the complexity, I can modify the existing mesh or recreate the model in SolidWorks for easier future editing.
