I founded My Book Pro, an editorial and book coaching practice dedicated to helping authors strengthen their manuscripts and navigate the publishing process. Freelancer used AI. Chinese characters were in my feedback reports. She didn't follow instructions. Feedback read as individual chapters processed by an LLM. I doubt she's actually a native English speaker.

Betty gave me the best beta feedback I've ever gotten — chapter by chapter, specific, honest, and somehow tracking the whole book's argument the entire way through, not just reacting scene by scene.
