About this Gig
Server-side tracking alone is NOT enough.
Advanced ad blockers and Brave Shield strip UTM parameters, truncate GCLID/FBCLID and block your server container request. The order still happens. Google and Meta never see it.
Offline Conversion Tracking pushes the sale straight from your backend, so every conversion reaches the ad platform with full attribution.
WHAT I WILL SET UP
- Google Ads offline import matched by Transaction ID
- Meta Offline Conversions + CAPI with Event ID de-duplication
- Backup UTM + GCLID/FBCLID capture before blockers strip them
- Server-side GTM / Stape container configuration
- Hashed customer data - GDPR & CCPA safe, no raw PII
- Testing, Walkthrough video, and 3 Months Support
PLATFORMS COVERED
Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce, custom backends, CRMs.

FAQ
Can ad blockers really block server-side tracking?
Ads Blockers with Aggressive filter lists combined with Brave Shields go further: they strip UTM parameters from the URL, truncate the click ID, and block the request to the server container endpoint itself. Server-side tracking cannot help when the browser never send the request in the first place.
If I use offline conversion tracking, do I still need server-side tracking?
Yes. The backend feed supplements the tag rather than replacing it. Server-side tracking captures real-time signal from visitors who are trackable, and the offline feed fills in what the tag missed and corrects values that changed after checkout.
Will this double count my conversions?
No, Correct setup prevents duplication. Google Ads deduplicates via transaction ID while Meta deduplicates using event name and event ID within 48 hours. Sharing identical order and event IDs from website and backend uploads allows the platforms to automatically merge them into single conversion.
