I will design eyewear frames and create factory ready 2d technical drawings

About this gig
Eyewear designer with 20 years in frame design and OEM production, working with factories in Sabae, Japan (the home of Japanese eyewear) and overseas.
I turn your idea, sketch or reference into a clean 2D technical drawing that a factory can quote and sample from.
What you get:
- Front, side and top views with key dimensions (lens width, bridge, temple length, frame width)
- Material spec (acetate, titanium, combination, etc.)
- Hinge, nose pad and core wire notes
- Colorway sheet
- Files in AI, PDF and PNG
Why work with me:
- I have run my own eyewear brands and shown collections at trade shows in Paris and Milan every year since 2017
- I know what factories need, so your drawing will not come back with questions
- I can also connect you with Japanese factories for production (see my other gig)
Please note: I deliver 2D drawings. If your factory needs a 3D CAD file, they usually build it from my drawing.
Please message me before ordering if you are not sure which package fits.

FAQ
Do you make 3D CAD files?
No. I deliver 2D technical drawings. Most eyewear factories create the 3D data themselves from a 2D drawing.
Can you work from a photo or rough sketch?
Yes. A phone photo, a hand sketch or a reference frame is enough to start.
Optical or sunglasses?
Both. Acetate, metal and combination frames.
Can you help with production too?
Yes. I offer a separate gig for made-in-Japan eyewear OEM coordination.
