Hello! Congratulations on finishing your novel. Now it's time to get some feedback, so why not hire an honest and upfront but positive young editor to look it over for you? Literature and writing are my passions, and I would like to offer my services to you to make your novel the best it can be. This is not a replacement for editing, but it will help you identify any major areas for improvement from a reader's perspective.
So what do you get?
As I read your manuscript, I'll make notes in the comments about things I particularly like, dislike, or find confusing. You'll probably see a lot of these, and that's a good thing! These comments will give you an insight into my immediate response to your writing.
In addition to this, I will also prepare a feedback report for you. This is a detailed write up of my thoughts and suggestions for potential changes, and it's lengthy! This will cover:
