I will create accurate 16 bit chiptune covers using ym2612 synth

About this gig
Looking for authentic 16-bit Sega Genesis audio? I create high-quality chiptune covers and arrangements using original FM synthesis (YM2612) combined with PSG channels (Square waves & Noise) on Furnace Tracker.
Whether you need a track optimized for real console limits or a massive dual-chip arrangement, I've got you covered:
- 1x YM2612 + PSG (Hardware Standard): Pure, nostalgic 16-bit sound constrained to real Sega Genesis hardware specs. Perfect for retro indie games running on original hardware or budget-friendly covers.
- 2x YM2612 + PSG (Dual-Chip Expansion): Doubles your FM polyphony. Allows complex chord voicings, richer lead harmonies, dynamic basslines, and full FM percussion without sacrificing authentic retro timbre.
What you will get:
- 100% authentic FM synthesis tone.
- High-res WAV file of your song
- .VGM, .FUR Files or Stems (optional/add-on if you haven't purchased the Premium Package).

FAQ
What file formats will I receive?
You will receive uncompressed 16-bit (44.1kHz/48kHz) high-quality WAV audio files, perfectly rendered for listening or game integration. (Source project files like .fur, hardware .vgz, and multi-track stems are included in Premium or available as add-ons).
What does "Number of Instruments" mean in your packages?
In context of chip music, "Instruments" refers to the total number of simultaneous audio channels available to build your track. I can switch instrument patches dynamically throughout the song, so you aren't limited to just a few sound presets!.
Are there any hardware constraints I should know about?
To maintain authentic retro hardware behavior, PSG Square 3 and PSG Noise share resources and cannot trigger pitch/noise modes simultaneously on the exact same tick. I manage this allocation carefully in the tracker to ensure clean, authentic retro percussion and basslines.
What is the difference between your service and using Genesis/Sega VSTs or Soundfonts?
Soundfonts use static samples that lack real FM dynamics. I program authentic YM2612 & SN76489 synthesis via Furnace Tracker. You get true 16-bit sound, custom patches, pro tracker trick mixing (Haas delay, detune, FM+PSG layering), and real hardware-ready files (.VGZ/.fur).
Can these tracks be played on real Sega Genesis / Mega Drive hardware?
1x YM2612 tracks are designed within hardware limits (6 FM + PSG) and exportable to .VGM for real consoles/ROMs (tested via Furnace emulation). 2x YM2612 tracks use 12 FM channels, exceeding single-console limits (best for modern games/streams). (Please note i don't test them on real consoles)
Do I get commercial rights to use the audio in my game or project?
Yes! Every completed order includes full commercial use rights. You are free to use the delivered audio files in your commercial video games, indie projects, YouTube videos, dynamic audio engines, or published albums with zero royalty worries.
Do you compose original music or only make arrangements?
I specialize strictly in arranging and transcribing existing tracks into accurate 16-bit Genesis/Mega Drive covers! Send me any song, MIDI, or audio file, and I will craft a faithful or custom 16-bit arrangement tailored for your project.
