I work as an Event Manager & Marketing Specialist with a Nigeria-based events and marketing service provider, supporting the planning, promotion, and execution of corporate events, business networking meetups, conferences, brand activations, and social events. My responsibilities include event planning and coordination, developing marketing strategies, and promoting events to targeted audiences using both online and offline channels. I handle social media marketing, community promotion, influencer outreach, email marketing, and event listing platforms such as Eventbrite to improve event visibility and attendance. I also manage event timelines, coordinate with vendors and partners, oversee promotional campaigns, and support on-site event operations when required. After each event, I assist with performance analysis to evaluate audience engagement and campaign effectiveness. Through this role, I have helped clients increase event awareness, improve attendance rates, and build stronger brand presence. I focus on ethical, manual promotion methods and tailor each campaign based on the client’s goals and target audience.
