FAQ
How do I know if my LLC needs reinstatement vs. a new formation?
If your LLC was previously registered but got administratively dissolved or revoked for missing filings or fees, reinstatement is the right move it's faster and preserves your original registration date. I'll confirm which applies after you message me.
Which states do you cover?
All 50 US states. I have specific experience with Wyoming, Delaware, Texas, Florida, New Mexico, and Nevada the most common states for LLC formations and reinstatements.
Can you close my EIN if I'm dissolving my LLC?
Yes. EIN closure (sending the IRS cancellation letter) is included in the Standard and Premium packages, and available as an add-on for Basic. I handle the IRS written notification process for you.
How long does reinstatement actually take?
My preparation and filing typically happen within 1–3 business days. State processing time varies Wyoming and New Mexico are often same-day; Delaware and Texas can take 3–10 business days depending on their queue. I'll give you a realistic estimate for your specific state upfront.
Do I need to be present or sign anything?
In most cases, I prepare all documents and you simply review and approve. Some states require a wet or e-signature if so, I'll send you exactly what to sign and where. No notary required for most reinstatements.
