A developmental edit is a big-picture review of structure, message, flow and pacing. I do not fix typos here. That comes later with copy editing and proofreading.
Will the developmental editor change my message or theology?
No. I suggest and explain, and you decide. Your doctrine and voice stay yours. I flag anything unclear so you can choose how to handle it.
Do you rewrite my book?
No. I give clear direction and examples, and you do the revising. This keeps the book in your own voice.
What does manuscript editing include?
An editorial letter and comments in your Word file. Premium also includes chapter-by-chapter notes and a review of revised chapters.
Are you a memoir editor, and do you edit fiction and Christian ebooks?

Should I do this before proofreading?
Yes. Developmental editing comes first, then copy and line editing, then proofreading. Editing text that is still changing wastes money.
