Do I need to send you my data?
No — and that's intentional. I build the complete tool with all formulas and the dashboard ready, and you simply enter your own data afterwards. Which Excel version will it work in?
I build with modern Excel functions (like XLOOKUP and dynamic arrays) that work in Excel 2021, Microsoft 365, and Excel for the web. Older versions (2016/2019) don't support all of these. Please tell me your exact version before ordering so I can make sure everything is fully compatible.
Can you build it in Google Sheets instead?
Yes. I can build your tool in Google Sheets as well — just mention it when you order so I can plan it accordingly from the start.
Do you use macros or VBA?
No. I work with modern formulas instead of macros. This means your file opens without security warnings, works on Windows, Mac and the web, and you can maintain it yourself without needing any programming knowledge.
Will you enter or clean up large amounts of my data?
My service covers building the tool, not data entry. I create the structure, formulas and dashboard — you fill in your own numbers. If you need large-scale data entry or cleaning, that's a different type of service and not included here.
What do you need from me to get started?
A clear description of what the tool should do — what you want to track, calculate or organize — plus any categories, calculations or layout preferences you have in mind. The clearer your brief, the better and faster the result.
How many revisions are included?
Each package includes a set number of revisions (see the package details). Additional revisions can be added anytime as an extra. I want you to be happy with the result, so I'll always work with you within the agreed scope.
Can I get the source file / will it be editable?
Yes. You receive a fully editable Excel file — it's your tool to keep, use and adjust however you like.
What if I need changes later, after delivery?
Small fixes within your included revisions are no problem. For larger changes or new features after the order is completed, just message me — we can arrange that as a small follow-up order.
