I'm a great choice if you want someone who doesn't know you to give you their honest reaction to your work. My beta/sensitivity reading style is giving you a mixture of praise and suggestions. I will let you know what you're doing well while also pointing out areas I think can be smoothed out.
I will also point out any grammatical or spelling errors I see, but I'm not a professional editor and will not catch everything, so please keep that in mind when you purchase.

Do you accept books with under or over these word counts?
Absolutely! Message me with the word count, and I can let you know what the price and delivery time would be.
What genres do you accept?
I have experience beta reading several different genres, and there's not a genre I don't like, so I accept all genres. I also have no restrictions on subject matter.
What do you sensitivity read for?
I can sensitivity read for Black/African American characters and panic disorder rep. Please specify when you message me if you want just a beta read, just a sensitivity read, or a beta and sensitivity read.
What does your reader's report specifically entail?
Depending on the genre and content of your work, I will talk about a mixture of plot, dialogue, pacing, worldbuilding, character, and my overall impression. I talk about all the elements you did well, and then I go into the specific elements that I think need clarification, expansion, etc.
Do you give inline comments?
Yes, I love to give inline comments, so you can see the exact places my feedback applies to. I also give inline reactions so you can see how I'm reacting to your work as a reader. I'm like the person that talks to the screen while watching a movie, except I'll be doing that for your book.
What is your preferred format for the document?
I accept either Google or Microsoft Word docs. If you send a Google doc, I just ask you refrain from accepting/rejecting suggestions or replying to comments until after I've sent my report to you.
Can I send you a questionnaire to answer about my project instead of receiving a reader's report?
Yes!
Do you use AI in your services? Can I send you a book I wrote with AI?
No, I don’t use generative AI in my personal life or in my business. I will not feed your book to any AI program or use it to write my report. And no, I will not work on any books that have been written with AI.
