I will clean up your messy excel or CSV into usable tidy data

About this Gig
You have the data. You just can't do anything with it the headers are on row 4, half the columns are text, there are eight rows of navigation junk at the bottom, and two different sheets have the same columns under different names.
The five things that actually go wrong, and what I do about each:
1. The header is not row 1. Title, subtitle, units, publication date. I locate the real header structurally I don't assume, and I don't delete five rows on faith.
2. Two-row headers. Unit groups spanning some columns, names underneath. Composed into unique, correct column names instead of five columns called "Column 3".
3. Numbers stored as text. Sorts wrong, averages fail, charts lie. Converted, with thousands separators stripped. Missing values stay missing never quietly turned into zero.
4. Footer cruft as data. Source:, Notes:, Release date. Moved out of the data and preserved as notes.
5. Two tables that look the same but aren't. Separated, labelled, and the difference written down.
Worked example in gallery: a real 11-sheet UK government statistics workbook, four different table layouts inside it cleaned into 10 CSVs and 175 verified rows, with 33 automated checks.
