I will hardware prototyping, schematic, pcb board designing, arduino, esp32, stm32
About this Gig
Hardware prototyping and custom PCB design, from first schematic to manufacturing-ready Gerber files. I do schematic and PCB board design for ESP32, STM32, nRF52, Arduino and Raspberry Pi CM4/CM5 hardware, plus the firmware that brings it to life.
Most projects stall in the same place: a breadboard that works and a board file the fab rejects. Send a sketch, block diagram, datasheets or an existing design, and I turn it into documented files you can order with confidence.
What's included:
-Schematic design with part selection and datasheet-checked pinouts
-2 or 4-layer PCB layout with clean power, ground and antenna keepout
-Gerber, drill, BOM and pick-and-place files for JLCPCB or PCBWay
-3D board preview and a DFM check before you pay for fabrication
-Editable source files in KiCad or Altium so you own the project
-Embedded firmware and sensor bring-up code on request
Typical work: IoT sensor nodes, battery-powered products, motor and power control, data loggers, research rigs and student prototypes.
Before work starts you get a written scope and timeline, and an honest answer if your board needs a bigger package than the one picked.
Send me your requirements to start.
FAQ
Which design software do you use, and do I get the source files?
KiCad or Altium — your choice, tell me before I start. Every package includes the editable source files, not just PDFs and Gerbers, so you or another engineer can revise the board later without redrawing it.
Will the Gerber files work with JLCPCB or PCBWay?
Yes. Standard and Premium deliver a complete manufacturing pack — Gerbers, drill files, BOM and pick-and-place — matched to your chosen fab's design rules, with a DFM check before delivery.
Do you order or assemble the boards for me?
No. I deliver the design files; you place the order with your fab. That keeps you in control of cost and shipping. I'll happily walk you through uploading the files and reading the fab's DFM warnings.
Can you do the firmware as well as the PCB?
Yes, the Premium package includes bring-up firmware for one board: peripheral initialisation and drivers for up to three peripherals plus a test project. Firmware can also be added to Standard as an extra.
What if I only have an idea and no schematic?
That's fine and it's common. A description of what the device should do, the sensors involved and the power source is enough to start. I'll propose a block diagram and MCU choice before drawing anything.
. Can you redesign or fix an existing board?
Yes. Send the current schematic, layout files and a description of what's failing. If you only need an assessment rather than a redesign, the design review extra is the cheaper route.
