The proportions should remain believable because an attractive image is not useful if the room looks good only.
Can you show an existing room redesigned without making it look like a completely different house?
Yes. A renovation visualization can preserve important characteristics of the existing space while changing the elements you actually want to renovate.
What if I have two different design ideas and genuinely can't decide between them?
That is one of the best uses of 3D visualization. Different furniture arrangements, materials, colors or design directions can be compared visually instead of trying to decide from mood boards.
How close will the final render be to the materials and finishes I intend to buy?
Render is not a substitute for a physical material sample. Lighting, screen settings and real-world textures can change how finishes appear.
