About this gig
A beautifully designed children's book doesn't just tell a story; it creates an experience. Layout, pacing, and typography all shape how a child engages with every page.
With 24 years in publishing and multiple award-winning titles, I bring Fiverr Pro-vetted expertise in children's book design, picture book layout, and self-publishing formatting to every project. My process:
- Concept development based on your vision
- Full interior layout and cover design
- Up to 3 rounds of revisions
- Delivery of print-ready and ebook files
Final product:
- Print-ready PDF files prepared to platform specifications
- Ebook files ready for upload
- Files compatible with Amazon KDP, IngramSpark, BookBaby, Barnes & Noble Press, traditional offset printers, and others.
What I'll need from you:
- Page size and page count
- Final, edited manuscript

With 24 years in publishing, my focus is children's books, cookbooks, self-help books, and journals — from first draft to print-ready publication.
I've worked with major publishing houses and international clients across editing, content development, and book design. Several children's books I've worked on have won awards, and others have been accepted by traditional publishers.
Whether your project is fully developed or AI-assisted, I bring professional editorial and design expertise to help shape it into something polished and publication-ready.

FAQ
Do I need to provide illustrations before you can start?
Yes — I work with artwork supplied by you or your illustrator. All illustrations should be provided in high resolution (300 DPI minimum) before the project begins. If you're using AI-generated artwork, please ensure the files are exported at the highest available resolution.
What formats can I provide?
I can supply you with print and ebook files for a variety of publishing options, including Amazon/KDP, Ingram Spark, Mixam and traditional offset printers.
Printing with Amazon/KDP: limitations
Amazon's KDP service does not offer a colour landscape format, and your book interior needs to be at least 24 pages.
What file formats will I receive?
You will receive print-ready PDF files and ebook files, prepared to the exact specifications of your chosen platform — whether that's KDP, IngramSpark, or another publisher.
Do you design the cover as well as the interior?
Yes — every package includes a full cover design (front, back, and spine) as well as the interior layout. If you only need a standalone cover, I have a separate gig for that.
Can you work with AI-generated illustrations?
Absolutely. I work with both hand-drawn and AI-generated artwork. As long as the files are high resolution, I can incorporate them seamlessly into a professional, publication-ready design.
What do you need from me to get started?
Before I begin, I'll need your final edited text, high-resolution illustrations, page size and count, ISBNs, and any design references or style preferences. A full list is provided in the requirements section.
How many pages does each package cover?
Each package is based on a specific page count — please select the package that matches your book's length. If your page count falls between packages or exceeds the largest option, please message me before ordering.
