FAQ
Do I need to provide illustrations before you can start?
Yes — I work with artwork supplied by you or your illustrator. All illustrations should be provided in high resolution (300 DPI minimum) before the project begins. If you're using AI-generated artwork, please ensure the files are exported at the highest available resolution.
What formats can I provide?
I can supply you with print and ebook files for a variety of publishing options, including Amazon/KDP, Ingram Spark, Mixam and traditional offset printers.
Printing with Amazon/KDP: limitations
Amazon's KDP service does not offer a colour landscape format, and your book interior needs to be at least 24 pages.
What file formats will I receive?
You will receive print-ready PDF files and ebook files, prepared to the exact specifications of your chosen platform — whether that's KDP, IngramSpark, or another publisher.
Do you design the cover as well as the interior?
Yes — every package includes a full cover design (front, back, and spine) as well as the interior layout. If you only need a standalone cover, I have a separate gig for that.
Can you work with AI-generated illustrations?
Absolutely. I work with both hand-drawn and AI-generated artwork. As long as the files are high resolution, I can incorporate them seamlessly into a professional, publication-ready design.
What do you need from me to get started?
Before I begin, I'll need your final edited text, high-resolution illustrations, page size and count, ISBNs, and any design references or style preferences. A full list is provided in the requirements section.
How many pages does each package cover?
Each package is based on a specific page count — please select the package that matches your book's length. If your page count falls between packages or exceeds the largest option, please message me before ordering.
