I will build esp32 matter mqtt ble low power lights sensors
About this Gig
Develop production-ready ESP32 firmware fully controllable via the Home Assistant Companion app. I integrate Matter (over Thread/WiFi), MQTT auto-discovery, BLE commissioning, and ultra-low-power design.
Technologies & Protocols:
- ESP32 / ESP8266 (Arduino Core / ESP-IDF)
- Matter (Thread/WiFi), MQTT, BLE GATT
- FreeRTOS, Deep Sleep, Light Sleep, OTA
- Home Assistant Auto-discovery & Control
- Sensor Integration (I2C, SPI, UART)
Integration Paths:
- Matter: On-chip clusters for lights/sensors, QR code commissioning. Works with HA, Apple, Google, Alexa.
- MQTT: Publishes HA discovery JSON for automatic entity creation. Instant app control.
Low Power:
- Thread Sleepy End Device (SED) & Deep Sleep support.
- Standby current as low as ~10µA for battery devices.
Deliverables:
Clean, well-commented source code, wiring diagram, commissioning guide, and power report.
Let's turn your IoT idea into reality! Please message me before ordering to discuss your transport (Matter-Thread/WiFi or MQTT) and power source.

FAQ
Do I need to send you the physical hardware?
No. I develop and test the firmware using ESP32 development boards on my side. You only need to share your wiring and component list. If needed, I can also provide a Wokwi simulation link for verification before shipping the final code.
Which framework do you use for ESP32?
I use ESP-IDF for Matter and low-power features, and Arduino framework for MQTT/HA integrations. Both are production-ready and well-documented. I will choose the best framework based on your requirements, or follow your preference if you have one.
What do I need to provide before ordering?
Please share: (1) your ESP32 model, (2) Matter transport — Thread or WiFi, (3) MQTT broker (local Mosquitto or cloud), (4) sensor types (DHT/SHT/BME), (5) power source (USB/battery), and (6) desired Home Assistant entities (light/switch/sensor).
