About this Gig
Hi, I'm Ben, and I worked in corporate marketing for over 20 years. I often found that copywriters and graphic designers stuck to their respective disciplines, either by choice or due to their capabilities. With a strong background in writing & design, I offer both services combined. In this gig, the client provides the words, the print-ready artwork, and any proprietary fonts or graphics.
Basic/Standard/Premium:
BASIC (Sequential Page Creation)
- Single-page / one-pager
- One-sided flyer
- Add more pages as needed
STANDARD (Bi-fold design)
- Bi-fold brochure (4 pages / panels)
- Booklet / ebook (8, 12, 16, 20+ pages)
PREMIUM (TRIFOLD DESIGN)
- Trifold brochure (6 panels)
Pages can be A4, US Letter, 16:9 Landscape, or any other size/shape. A page can include any combination of graphics, photos, and text (up to 250 words per page). The document can incorporate your house styles, including logo, brand colors, and typography / fonts.

Can we meet to discuss before I place the order?
Yes, clear definition of the request and gig are key to ensure my deliverable matches your expectations. I offer Zoom sessions.
Do you do the writing and the design?
Yes, I will work with the words you provide, editing or re-writing for clarity, coherence, or conciseness, and then also for length. I will then combine the written message(s) to work with the design.
Do you offer business advice?
If the question(s) are in context to the project, I will offer my opinion and/or recommendation. Otherwise, a business consultation would be a separate gig. Feel free to inquire and I can share more on my qualifications.
Do you offer market research?
Yes, within the context of the gig--that is a sales brochure or similar piece of collateral--I will look at up to two (2) competitors to compare their styles and messages. You must provide names and website addresses of competitors.
Will I get an editable file of your work?
Yes, I will provide a PDF and then also the Adobe Creative Cloud native files, e.g., InDesign, or the appropriate Microsoft files such as Word, or PowerPoint. Note - I do not provide files such as Publisher, PageMaker, FrameMaker, Corel Draw, etc. Please ask questions ahead of time.
