FAQ
Do I need my own AI account?
Yes. Your documents are processed through your own API account, for example Google Gemini, OpenAI, or Anthropic Claude, so you control the data and pay the AI usage directly, usually a small cost per document. If you don't have an account yet, I'll help you set one up.
How accurate is it?
It depends on your documents, which is why every package includes an accuracy report measured on your own samples. From Standard up, doubtful values are flagged for review instead of silently guessed.
What happens when a value is flagged?
Flagged documents are highlighted in the Excel file together with the reason, so you only check those instead of every document. The Review dashboard extra adds a simple web page for checking and correcting them.
What counts as one document type?
A group of documents with the same kind of information, for example invoices. Invoices from different suppliers with different layouts still count as one type.
Does it work with scanned documents?
Yes, including scans and photos, as long as they're legible. Handwriting is possible but less reliable. The accuracy report shows exactly how well it works on your samples.
What happens to my documents?
They're used only for your project, processed through your own AI account, and deleted from my side after delivery. I'm happy to sign an NDA. For confidential files, use a paid API plan, since some free tiers let the provider use submitted data.
Can it process new documents automatically?
Yes. The code processes a folder of new files whenever you run it, and the Premium API can be called by your own systems. For fully automatic processing, for example straight from an email inbox, message me for a custom offer.
