It includes one text field or dropdown on one product template, or one minor layout fix. I'll test the agreed change on mobile and desktop. Live previews, multiple changes and advanced app setups need a larger package.
Can customers add names, messages or engraving text?
Yes. I can add personalization fields and configure supported requirements, such as character limits or mandatory entries. I'll also check that the submitted details stay attached to the correct product.
Can customers upload images and preview their personalized products?
Yes, when your chosen app supports those features. I'll check compatibility and your product assets before confirming the setup. Custom preview engines, 3D models and advanced image effects require a separate quote.
Can you fix personalization details missing from the cart or order?
I can investigate how your product page, app and cart handle those details. After identifying the issue, I'll confirm the fix and test the agreed flow through a test order where access permits.
Can you add extra charges or show options based on customer choices?
Yes, with a compatible app. For example, an engraving choice could reveal a text field and add a fixed charge. Please provide your exact rules and prices so I can confirm the scope.
Do I need to purchase a Shopify app?
Not always. A simple field or layout change may not need one. Advanced personalization and live previews can require an app. I'll explain the proposed setup; app subscriptions and usage fees are paid separately by you.
Will the changes work on mobile and affect my other products?
I'll test the agreed mobile layout and check which products share the affected template. Where needed, I'll use a separate template or targeted app settings to limit changes to the intended products.
Do you need my Shopify password?
No. Please provide Shopify collaborator access with the permissions needed for the work. Keep your password and payment information private. I'll explain the access requirements after we agree on the scope.
What happens after delivery?
You'll receive the agreed changes and handover instructions; Premium includes a recorded walkthrough. Included revisions cover the original scope. Extra products, new features and ongoing maintenance can be quoted separately.
