What do you include on the beta reading ?
i provide reader-focused feedback on plot, pacing, charatcters, clarity, and overall reading experience.
Do you provide line editing or proofreading?
No. Beta reading focuses on big-picture story elements (plot, characters, pacing, emotional impact). For grammar/typos, hire a copy editor AFTER you implement beta reader feedback. However, if I notice consistent clarity issues, I'll mention them.
What i will receive?
A detailed reader report with strenghts, weaknesses, and clear suggestions for improvement.
Can you beta read in Portuguese?
Yes! I'm a native Portuguese speaker (Brazilian Portuguese) and fluent in English. I can beta read manuscripts in EITHER language. Just specify your language preference when ordering
What romance heat levels do you accept?
I read everything from sweet/clean romance to steamy (explicit scenes). I DON'T accept pure erotica where plot is secondary to explicit content. Fade-to-black or on-page romance is totally fine!
What if I disagree with your feedback?
Beta reading is MY perspective as one reader in your target audience. You're free to accept, adapt, or reject any suggestions. Multiple beta readers often give different feedback - that's normal! Use what resonates and ignore what doesn't.
Can I send my manuscript in parts?
"I prefer complete manuscripts to evaluate overall plot arcs and character development. However, if you're still writing, I offer a separate service for partial beta reads (first 3-5 chapters) to get early feedback. Message me!
