About this Gig
I'm Mike, and I've worked with 1,000+ students for over a decade to brainstorm and edit their essays and personal statements to gain admission to the highest ranked MBA, Law/JD, Medical/Dental, and Engineering programs. I hold an MBA and am equipped with an intimate knowledge of the application process, which can help you navigate it with less stress and better results.
What I Do: From developing early drafts to polishing final essays, I do it all! I do everything from identifying killer anecdotes to get you admitted to the school of your dreams to polishing your drafted essays. I'll ensure that your personal statement/admissions essay and resume has that "wow" factor it needs to make you stand out from the crowd of the thousands of others who are applying to the same school. How do I know? Each client I've worked with has been accepted to one or more of their top schools, and many have even gotten scholarships ranging from a few thousand dollars to a full-ride. International students and dual-degree candidates encouraged! I even assist with reviewing and editing GMAT/GRE waivers, and more!

FAQ
How quickly can you get started?
Upon receiving your first draft of essay(s) and resume, I get started editing right away. I always track changes on the first draft and leave comments in the margins for all essays and resumes. I turnaround all drafts and edits ASAP!
How long will this take from start to finish?
While many essays and writers are different, I find that most individuals typically spend 1-3 hours per essay. Depending on how much work needs to be done, that can be significantly more or less. You can also dictate how much time you want me to spend working on the essays so you stay within budget!
Do I need to contact you before placing an order?
No! You can simply place an order and submit your requirements -- and once I have everything I need, I will get started editing ASAP. Please reach out to me directly with any questions.
Can we talk on the phone/video?
Absolutely! I work remotely with my clients, and am happy to talk via Zoom through the Fiverr app. I've found that it’s the best use of time (and your money!) to send as complete a draft of your essay as possible so that we can get started right away.
Can you provide samples or references?
Of course! If you would like to see before and after samples of my work, just ask! You can look at my samples in the gig gallery as well!
Do you edit anything besides essays and resumes?
Yes! I offer a full range of services, and can (ethically) edit and suggest a narrative for supporting documents, GMAT/GRE waivers, and any other document associated with your application. I also offer mock-interview prep and wait-list counseling -- all for the same affordable rates!
Can you guarantee admission to the program of my choice?
Due to the competitive nature of application rounds, I cannot guarantee your admission to any specific program. I can, however, ensure that your essays and resume highlight your strengths, are free of errors, and give you the best shot at admission to the program of your choice!
Do you work with international/English as a second language students?
Yes! I love working with international students. I've worked extensively with students who speak English as a second language, including candidates from China, India, Japan, Egypt, South Korea, Cuba, Peru, Mexico, and more! I will help ensure that your English is perfect on your application.
