About this Gig
A board ordered with a hidden error means a respin: new fabrication, new assembly and weeks of delay. I review your PCB design (schematic and layout) before you send it to the fab, so problems are fixed in the files, not on the bench.
What I check:
- Power and protection: input protection, regulators, current paths
- Decoupling: values, placement and loop size at every IC
- Footprints: pinout, pad sizes and pin 1 against the datasheet
- DFM for JLCPCB/PCBWay: trace/space, drills, annular rings, BOM and CPL
- Grounding and return paths: plane splits, stitching, high-current loops
- Connectors: pinout, orientation and mechanical fit
- ESD: protection on every external interface
Every finding comes with its location (reference or net), why it matters and how to fix it. See the sample report in the gallery.

FAQ
Which files do I need to send?
KiCad or Altium project files. If you can't share sources, a schematic PDF plus Gerbers works for Quick Check and Full Review. Premium needs KiCad files so I can mark up the fixes. Also tell me the board's purpose, manufacturer and layer count.
What exactly do I receive?
Quick Check: a written list of findings. Full Review: a PDF report with each finding ranked critical/recommended/optional, with its location and the fix. Review + Fixes adds the fixes marked up in your KiCad files and a second review after you apply them.
Will you sign an NDA?
Yes. I'm happy to sign your NDA before you share any files.
What if my design changes during the review?
Send the updated files and tell me what changed. Small changes are reviewed in the same order. If the board grows beyond the package (more layers or parts), I'll tell you before doing any extra work.
