Do you edit or proofread the manuscript?
While I’ll correct small grammar or spelling issues I spot, my main focus is providing reader-based feedback not full editing or proofreading. If you need editing, I can recommend that as a separate service.
What exactly does your beta reading service include?
I’ll read your manuscript carefully and provide a detailed reader report on pacing, character development, tone, and overall story flow. You’ll also receive inline comments (in Word or Google Docs) with my reactions, questions, and suggestions.
How long will it take to receive my feedback?
Turnaround time depends on word count and project size. Typically, shorter works take 3–5 days, while full-length manuscripts may take 7–14 days. I always confirm the timeline before starting.
What file formats do you accept?
I accept Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) or Google Docs files, as they allow me to add comments and inline notes directly within your text.
Will you keep my work confidential?
Absolutely. Your manuscript and ideas remain 100% confidential. I never share, reproduce, or discuss your work with anyone.
How is your feedback delivered?
You’ll receive a comprehensive feedback report (PDF or Word) summarizing key insights and inline comments throughout your manuscript for specific suggestions.
