If you're doing the same thing in Excel or across files every week, it should be a script. That's what I build.
I'm an engineer with a finance master's, and I write Python that's tested and documented. Not a one-off hack that breaks the second your data changes.
Typical jobs:
- Merge, clean, and reformat CSV or Excel files
- Pull data from an API and drop it into a spreadsheet or report
- Turn a manual monthly report into one command
- Scrape public data into a clean table (public pages only, nothing behind a login)
- Small FastAPI backend or command-line tool
You get the script, a README that explains how to run it, and a quick test so you know it works on your data. Windows and Mac both fine.
Bilingual English/Spanish. Send me a sample of the data and what the output should look like, and I'll tell you honestly if it's a 1-hour job or a 1-week job.

What do you need from me to start?
A sample of the input data (remove anything private), a description or example of what the output should look like, and how often this needs to run. If it pulls from an API or website, tell me which one.
Will the script keep working if my data changes a little?
That's the point of the Standard and Premium packages. They include error handling and a config file, so column names, file paths, and settings live in one place you can edit without touching the code.
Can you scrape a website that needs a login?
No. I only scrape public pages, and only when the site's terms allow it. If the data is behind a login or the site forbids scraping, I'll say so and we can look at an official API or export instead.
