1. Do I need my own server?
WireGuard needs a VPS or an always-on computer; a small VPS is enough. Proton runs on the devices you already own. If your setup can't run what you want, I'll let you know before the project starts.
2. What's the difference between WireGuard and Proton?
WireGuard on your own hardware, your keys, no logs but yours; Proton as the commercial service set up properly on your account, and we pick together before anything is installed.
3. What do you need from me?
You create the access (SSH key or a temporary account, your choice) and revoke it at handover. We finish with a walkthrough of everything that was installed.
4. Will it slow my internet down?
No. WireGuard is built for speed, and most people notice nodifference in normal use. With Proton, speed depends on the server you connect to, and I'll set it up with the fastest options for your location.
5. Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. Client apps are set up and tested on your phone, laptop, andany device you want, and the guide covers adding more later.
6. What happens after delivery?
You get written documentation covering updates, adding devices, and troubleshooting. Every order includes 7 days of support. After that, I can fix a one-time issue or set up ongoing tech support, both for an additional cost.
