I will do advanced reverse engineering and surface repair for manufacturing

Automated tools treat mesh damage as real geometry, creating warped, un-manufacturable surfaces. With 15+ years of industrial CAD experience alongside veteran toolmakers, I manually reconstruct messy scan data and broken CAD files into high-precision, production-ready geometry using SolidWorks.
What Makes My Service Different:
- Manufacturing Intent: Surfaces are built respecting strict draft angles, original manufacturing tolerances, and proper tooling pull directions.
- Advanced Surface & STEP Repair: I transform degraded, non-uniform meshes or corrupted, un-stitched STEP/IGES files into flawless, editable geometry.
Deliverables:
- Production-ready STEP or IGES files (perfectly closed solid bodies ready for CNC, 3D printing, or injection molding tooling design).
Note: Deliverables include universal production files. Native SolidWorks source files (.SLDPRT/.SLDASM) with full feature trees can be quoted separately as a premium add-on.

FAQ
What exactly do I need to provide before you start?
Message me your file (STL, OBJ, PLY mesh data, or corrupted STEP/IGES files). Crucially, include 1 or 2 key physical measurements of the real object so I can scale the unitless mesh data accurately. Also note the intended manufacturing method for proper tolerances.
What is the difference between your manual reconstruction and automated software?
Automated tools treat mesh damage and wear as real geometry, creating warped parts. I use forensic engineering to deduce the original design intent from broken data, manually rebuilding precise, symmetrical (when applicable) surfaces optimized for real-world manufacturing.
Why aren't native SolidWorks source files included in the standard packages?
Standard packages deliver production-ready STEP/IGES files for CNC/tooling. Native SolidWorks feature trees (.SLDPRT) contain proprietary modeling logic and intellectual property. They can be provided, but must be quoted separately as a custom premium add-on.
Can you repair un-stitched or corrupted STEP files from other CAD software?
Yes. If you have an exported STEP/IGES file that opens with broken faces or fails to form a solid body, I can manually repair, stitch, and knit the surfaces back into a clean, watertight solid ready for production.
