About this Gig
You poured everything into this story. So why doesn't it feel complete?
The plot exists. The characters have chemistry. The dark tension you imagined is somewhere in there, but on the page it feels scattered, underdeveloped, or emotionally flat. You've read it so many times you can't even tell what's missing anymore.
That's not a writer's failure. That's what happens when a story grows beyond what one pair of eyes can fix alone.
This service is built for romance, contemporary romance, dark romance, and erotic novel writers whose stories have real potential but need structural clarity to fully come alive. Your plot, pacing, character arc, emotional tension, and scene development get examined thoroughly, so every chapter pulls readers deeper instead of pushing them away.

FAQ
What exactly does developmental editing cover?
Developmental editing looks at the foundation of your story, plot structure, pacing, character arcs, emotional beats, and scene development. It's the editing stage that makes sure your story works before anything else gets polished.
My dark romance has very explicit and morally complex content. Is that a problem?
Not at all. Dark romance and erotic fiction are the core of this service. Morally grey characters, explicit scenes, and dark themes are handled with complete understanding of the genre, the only goal is making your story hit harder for your readers.
Do I need a completed manuscript before reaching out?
A complete or near-complete first draft works best for developmental editing. It doesn't need to be clean or perfect, developmental editing is specifically designed for raw, unpolished stories that need structural direction to reach their full potential.
Will developmental editing change the direction of my story?
Never without your input. Every suggestion made is exactly that a suggestion. Your vision for the story always leads. The editing process works with your creative direction, not against it.
I write both romance and dark romance. Can you edit across both?
Absolutely. Whether your manuscript leans into sweet romantic tension or deeply dark and explicit territory, both are well within this service's scope. Your genre blend is never a limitation here.
