What kind of equipment do you use?
We use the following equipment to record foley sounds: Rode NT1, Rode NTG1, Neumann TLM 103, Sennheiser MKH 416, NoHype Audio LRM-1. And the following software: Avid Pro Tools, Apple Logic Pro X, Izotope RX, Unity, Unreal Engine, etc.
What is required to start work?
Video file in Mp4/MOV or AAF/Pro Tools project. It is also very important that the video you send me must have the same fps as the final video you send to the mix. For example, if you send in a 24 fps video it should be 24 fps in all post-production stages.
How can I get a project?
You can get ready mixdown mastering according to your technical requirements. Also, you can get stems with music/voice over/sound design/foley.
When it will be good to add foley sounds to advertising from an artistic point of view?
From an artistic point of view, foley adds life to the picture, making the shot more dynamic and realistic.
When is it advisable to add foley sounds to advertising from a technical point of view?
From a technical point of view, foley is needed when there are shots with moving people without sound from the set or low-quality sound, in such cases, the music will not be enough and it will look bland and dull. If you are not sure about foley, please text and we will help.
Do you compose music for advertising?
No, we compose music only for films and games. However, we add to the mix the music that you provide (we advise you to make sure in advance that the composition you have chosen for your project is legal to use)
