I will deliver a section 508 and wcag syllabus template bundle
Web Manager, Accessibility, Section 508 Specialist, WCAG Audits and Remediation
About this Gig
Start the semester with a syllabus that's organized, professional, easier for students to navigate, and built with accessibility in mind.
I created this toolkit after reviewing 50+ higher education syllabi and seeing the same problems repeatedly: outdated information, confusing organization, inconsistent formatting, and accessibility issues.
I bring 20+ years of web and UX experience, including six years performing Section 508 accessibility compliance work for the USDA. I manually reviewed this toolkit using WCAG 2.1 AA and Section 508 accessibility practices.

Package comparisons
Basic: receive the accessible templates and fill them out. Standard: basic + I'll fill out the template for you (text changes, not structure). Premium: Standard + I'll reorganize your existing syllabus, using the template, and review the final product for accessibility.
Can I use this template for any type of course?
Yes. The template is designed to be adapted for different subjects and teaching formats. The toolkit includes completed examples for an in-person lecture course, a seminar course, and a fully online asynchronous course.
Can I edit and reuse the template?
Yes. Your purchase includes a single-instructor license. You can edit the files and reuse them for your own courses each semester. The files may not be resold, shared with other instructors, or redistributed department-wide.
Can my department or college purchase it?
Yes. The standard purchase is licensed to one instructor. Please contact me before ordering if you need the toolkit for multiple faculty members, a department, or an institution.
Is this template guaranteed to be WCAG or Section 508 compliant?
No. Accessibility depends partly on the content you add after purchase. The template was manually reviewed using WCAG 2.1 AA and Section 508 accessibility practices and includes guidance to help you maintain its accessible structure while editing.
Does it work with Google Docs?
The main syllabus template is a Microsoft Word (.docx) file. It can be opened and edited in Google Docs, although formatting and accessibility features can behave differently after conversion. For the best results, I recommend Microsoft Word.
