Gearbie is a peer-to-peer marketplace for buying and selling second-hand sports gear, with additional features designed specifically for sports clubs. I was a co-founder and part of the development team, helping build the mobile app from scratch. The app includes in-app chat, payments, shipping, and AI-powered listing creation. We built it using React Native and ASP.NET Core REST APIs, with Azure infrastructure including Blob Storage, SignalR, Notification Hubs, Cosmos DB, and Azure AI, and Firebase for authentication and observability. The app is currently published on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store

I work as a Senior Developer at Qliro, contributing to a large-scale credit decisioning platform that evaluates consumers for Buy Now, Pay Later payments. The system integrates with multiple external data providers across different countries, combines internal debt and payment data with ML-based scoring, and uses a fraud detection engine with configurable rules to identify suspicious transactions. It also performs sanctions and politically exposed person (PEP) checks using external services. Credit decisions need to be completed within approximately 2 seconds. The platform consists of around 14 microservices, communicating mainly through RabbitMQ and REST APIs, with extensive observability, monitoring, and alerting using Grafana and Kibana. Previously, I was part of the Merchant Onboarding team at Qliro, where we built an automated platform for merchant onboarding, KYC and credit analysis, payment method configuration, and market-specific setup. The platform automatically configured merchants across 16 different systems, while providing a simple onboarding experience for merchants and handling complex orchestration and integrations behind the scenes. We also built a back-office UI for managing manual reviews and edge cases.
