Isometric Tileset & Game Environment Artist
Mar 2025 - Present • 1 yr 3 mos
Shifted focus toward tileset and environment work after noticing how many devs struggled to find tilesets that were actually modular and seamless out of the box. Most of what I build now is isometric and top down terrain, dungeon sets, road tiles, water, indoor environments — all organized and grid-aligned so they drop straight into Unity Tilemap or Godot without the developer needing to fix anything. The goal is always the same: hand a dev a tileset and have them feel like they can build a full world with it the same day.
2D Pixel Art & Sprite Sheet Animator
Aug 2024 - Present • 1 yr 10 mos
Created production-ready 2D pixel art animations and sprite sheet assets for an indie game development studio focused on RPG and platformer titles. Responsibilities included designing modular sprite sheet animations with 8-direction movement, producing character walk cycles, attack animations, and looping idle animations for player characters, NPCs, and enemy sprites. Worked within a defined pixel art style guide to maintain visual consistency across all game assets. Delivered assets optimized for Unity Tilemap and Godot workflows, ensuring all sprite sheets were properly grid-aligned, transparently backgrounded, and export-ready. Contributed pixel art backgrounds, environment props, and decorative game assets to two shipped game projects within the studio pipeline.
Freelance Pixel Artist & Game Asset Designer
Jul 2023 - Present • 2 yrs 11 mos
Started taking on pixel art commissions for indie devs who needed characters and assets that actually fit their games not generic clip art. Most clients came in with a vibe or reference and left with a full character lineup, sprite sheets, and animations ready to drop into Unity or Godot. Worked across RPGs, platformers, dungeon crawlers, and mobile games. Got good at reading what a game needs visually before the client even articulates it. Built most of my repeat business through that people come back because the first delivery already feels like it belongs in their game world.
