I will refine planners, habit tracker, self help workbook, dairy, journal book editing
Chief Editor and Digital Product Architect for Authors and Course Creators
About this Gig
Does your planner or self-help workbook look great but go unused after week two? I provide developmental editing for planners, habit trackers, workbooks, diaries and journals, so readers keep coming back to the page.
These books fail quietly. The prompts repeat, the layout fights the habit, the instructions assume too much, and the promise on the cover never gets delivered inside. Authors are too close to their own pages to see it, and proofreading alone won't catch it.
I'm Chaya, Chief Editor at Pagetrim for 7+ years, with an MA in Creative Writing and an Advanced Certificate in Publishing. I know what sells on Amazon from seven best-selling titles of my own, and I once built a companion workbook for a business author, from structure to print-ready layout.
I review your sequence, prompts, reader journey and tone, then deliver a clear edit with notes on what to fix and why. Add-ons include interior layout and KDP formatting, so one expert takes you from rough draft to upload-ready file.
Send me your title, audience and a sample page, and I'll tell you honestly which package fits.

FAQ
What is the difference between developmental editing and proofreading?
Proofreading fixes typos and punctuation. Developmental editing looks at whether the book works: the order of sections, the quality of prompts, instructions, tone and whether the book keeps its promise to the reader. Most planners and workbooks need this first.
Do you edit low-content or mostly-blank books?
Yes. Planners, trackers and journals depend on structure and prompts more than on word count, so the edit focuses on layout logic, page flow, wording and the user's experience.
Will you rewrite my content?
I edit and suggest rewrites, and I'll flag where a section needs reworking. Your voice stays yours. If you want extensive rewriting, message me first and we'll agree a scope.
What do I receive, and in what format?
Comments or tracked changes in your file (Word, Google Docs or PDF comments), plus an editorial letter on Standard and Premium. Tell me your preferred format when you order.
Can you get my book ready for Amazon KDP?
Yes. The Premium package includes interior layout and a KDP-ready PDF, and formatting is available as an add-on on other packages.
Can you guarantee my book will sell?
No editor can honestly promise that. What I can promise is a clearer structure, stronger prompts and a book that is easier for readers to use. That is what drives good reviews and repeat purchases.
Is my manuscript kept confidential?
Yes. Your work is used only for your project and isn't shared or reused.
